This Broccoli Raab/ Rapini is the "Cima de Rapa" strain. Also called "asparagus broccoli" in Italy, its tender shoots have a slightly spicy/peppery, broccoli-asparagus flavor that gives zing to salads, stir-fries and steamed dishes. Great as a very early spring crop.
Cook sprouts and leaves as you would broccoli, use thinnings in salads or stir fries. Connoisseur’s delight.
