The Connecticut Field Pumpkin is a popular variety for carving and baking, known as Southern Field, Big Tom, Large Yellow and Holloween. This is what comes to mind when you think “pumpkin”.

Fruit is medium orange to yellow-orange in color, 10-14” tall and 12-15”’ in diameter. Weight averages 15-25 lbs with a smooth, hard slightly-ribbed thin bright rind.

The flesh is deep-yellow to lightly orange, coarse and sweet.
