Super Sioux was bred by the University of Nebraska Experimental Station for better production during hot weather, taste and disease resistance. Since its introduction, has become well known as an outstanding hot weather tomato. Plants are regular leafed, open, medium sized with average leaf cover.
Produces large amounts of smooth, crack-free, juicy thick walled round fruit around 4 oz. in size. Taste is more old fashioned with a nice acid "bite", but not overpowering. Best for canning, sauces or fresh slicing use. Great choice for home gardening and market growing due to the long production season.

Planting Instructions
Indoors: 5 - 7 weeks before last frost sow 1/4" deep and keep soil evenly moist at 60- 70 degrees F. When the second set of leaves appears, transplant seedlings to individual pots.
Harden off 2 weeks before setting out, when weather is fully warm, in a spot with at least 8 hours of sun daily. Plant seedlings up to 2" under the first leaves, at least 3' apart. Water deeply and well in dry weather.
Outdoors: Sow as above, directly in site when weather is warm.
