Yugoslavian Red Lettuce is an excellent spring variety. Full, loose heads up to 10 in. across.

The outer leaves are ruffled and dark red, while the interior leaves are pale greenish-yellow with little or no red coloration. Sweet, crisp, excellent producer.

For the longest shelf life, harvest greens late in the day.
