MycoGrow™ Soluble Seed Mix is designed to help the gardener or home landscaper promote fast plant and root growth, increase nutrient and water uptake and reduce fertilizer use.

Exceptionally helpful for those who use commercial potting soils, which are sterilized and therefore devoid of beneficial microorganisms.

Apply as a seed coat, with hand watering or through the drip system.

Upon germination, the seeds quickly mycorrhize with the beneficial fungal allies, enhancing growth and disease-resistance. More concentrated, containing more spores and more species, plus other beneficial organisms.

A little goes a long way. The 1/2 ounce (powder) package is sufficient to coat up to 1/2 pound of seeds. 1/2 oz treats 65-125 plants or covering approximately 125 sq ft. of garden.

They act as extensions of root systems and are more effective in nutrient and water absorption than the roots themselves. They increase nutrient uptake by both increasing the surface absorbing area of the roots, and releasing powerful enzymes into the soil that dissolve hard-to-capture nutrients, such as organic nitrogen, phosphorus, iron and other “tightly bound” soil nutrients.

Contains concentrated spore mass of the following: 

  • Endomycorrhizal fungi- Colonize inside root surfaces and extend far into the soil.
  • Ectomycorrhizal fungi- Grows close to and envelope root surfaces and extend far into the soil.
  • Trichoderma- Colonize the root surface, even 3 ft. or more below the soil. They control every pathogenic fungus known, and several strains induce plants to "turn on" their native defense mechanisms to control pathogens other than fungi. Increases the rate of plant growth and development and cause the production of more robust roots.
  • Beneficial Bacteria- Important contributor to the carbon and nitrogen cycles. Assists the control of plant pathogen infections through plant growth and serving as a biocontroller by producing antibiotics.
