Tulip 'Single Early Red Flair' Bulbs - (Tulipa Single Early Group)

Red Flair or Red Paradise is an early spring blooming tulip with a single gorgeous, eye-catching lipstick-red blossom with a tiny yellow base and a black center.  Long-lasting, sturdy flowers.

The blooms are 12-14" tall and is winter hardy in zones 3-8. An the eye-catching centerpiece of a blooming garden.

Tulipa Single Early Group

Cup-shaped single flowers up to 16" in early to mid-spring.

Growing Conditions

  • Tulips need full sun for at least half the day, with some wind protection.
  • Planting depth depends on the size of the bulbs; 6-8" for larger types and 4" for smaller bulbs. Space approximately 4-8" apart.

Flowering

  • Blooms from late winter to late spring.
  • If cutting blooms for cut flowers, choose those that are not fully open and cut them early in the morning.

Tip

  • Tulips may be left in the ground for two or three years, or the bulbs can be lifted once the foliage has died down, cleaned and stored in a cool, dry, airy place. If you do not want to lift them annually, make sure the bulbs are planted deeply.
