Our Gardener's Organic Hand Soap is full of exfoliants - ground apricot kernels and coffee - to help clean the dirtiest hands. We've given this bar a bright, fresh lemon scent. We keep a bar at every sink all summer as well as in the gardening shed!

Every bar of our soap is made to the highest standards, unsurpassed quality and complies with the strictest definition of natural. Unlike many others that claim organic, these soaps have obtained USDA Organic Certification. Organic certification represents a higher commitment to natural.  Only the purest ingredients, ones grown and produced sustainably and in accordance with USDA Organic standards are used.

All of the fragrances are pure essential oils (plant extracts); the bar colors are herbs; and all preservatives are plant extracts. No synthetic fragrances, colors, or preservatives are in any of our soaps.

A good bar soap balances bar hardness or durability, lather quality (fluffiness and stability), and moisturizing ability. These different properties come from the different organic vegetable oils used as the base of the herbal soaps. Unfortunately, the oils that are moisturizing are not those that contribute much to lather quality, and the ones that make great lather are drying to our skin. A perfect bar soap is the result of carefully balancing the fatty acids to maximize the bar's hardness, lather quality, and moisturizing ability.
