Long, slender, wrinkled, very hot, thin-walled 5-6" long peppers ripen from dark-green to bright-red. These peppers are very easy to dry.
Bountiful production is perfect for pickles, canning, drying and using fresh for a bright, hot flavor in cooking.
Indigenous to Central and South America, peppers were developed into a crop plant around 3,000 BC or perhaps even earlier. Columbus introduced Capsicum into Europe and it also spread to Africa and Asia.
