Mung Bean Sprouting Seeds
Organic Mung Bean Sprouts are the most-grown and consumed sprout in Asian countries, as they are used widely in Asian cooking.
You can grow them smaller with a more delicate flavor, or larger with thicker roots for a more nutty and robust flavor. Sprouts are one of the best and easiest ways to have incredible flavor and nutrition in almost no space at any time of the year.

Add to sandwiches, eggs, salads, sprinkle on soups, or substitute for any other greens when they are out of season.
Sprouting Tip
- Rinse often
- Keep sprouts moist but no wet

Yield
1 1/2 tablespoons yields 1 1/2 - 2 cups of sprouts in 4-6 days.
Sprout Safety
- Wash your hands thoroughly before handling seeds or sprouts, and use clean glass jars and screens that are washed with soap and hot water just before starting the sprouting process.
- Rinse the sprouts well at least twice a day and tip the jar so excess water can drain, avoiding puddles where bacteria can grow.
- Rinse the seeds well before starting the initial soaking period.

Give Mung a try
Mung beans can be used for so much more than Asian cooking. I prefer mung sprouts for their crunchy texture in my sandwiches, especially with a nice heirloom tomato.
